Instructions for Week 7

• Choose a paragraph or short passage from In the Skin of a Lion in advance of the seminar.
• Start a new blog post.
• Write about 500 words explaining why you chose this excerpt, and offer some analysis of it.
• Sometime during or after the time that class would usually be held, come back to the blog again, and post a response to someone else’s initial posting.

It is important to post your 500 words before the class time (ie Group A must post before 10am on Wed 14 Nov, and Group B before 1pm on Wed 14 Nov). If you want to draw on what you wrote in your learning journal entry for this week, that is fine.

From there, you are also free to respond to other postings as well as this, or to respond to what someone has written about your comments, etc. If we are able to get an online discussion going, that is great. A minimum of 2 postings is required from you, but you may add more if you like.

I will be online to look at the discussion at 10am on Thurs 15 November, so you have a day to add the second (and, if desired, subsequent) postings. You can see, though, that it is important that everybody puts at least one thing on the blog by the usual class time so that the discussion has something to start with.
